Friends!

This past Saturday, Lianne, Bryanna and Cassidy hit the road to attend a pre-travel meeting at the offices of the Children's Bridge (CB) in Ottawa. CB is the adoption agency that is organizing our Homeland Tour. Al and Florence are in Florida right now so couldn't join us though were there in spirit. And even the road-trip itself was great fun as we were joined by our good friends, Shauna and MacLean ~ we had a super weekend staying with Shauna's sister's family.

The pre-travel meeting allowed many of the children taking part in this Homeland Trip to meet (most for the first time) and talk about the upcoming journey and have some fun together. We were espcially thrilled that our friends, the Presleys, who we first met on our trip to China in 2000, are travelling with us again! Coincidentally, their youngest daughter is also named Lianne (what a great name!) and it was great to see Lianne, Bryanna and Cassidy getting to know each other better as they anticipate the upcoming trip. We have received our final trip itinerary and will post that in the next couple of days.
